Pearls of Wisdom

Mini-pearl earrings make big statements

Pearls’ luminous resemblance to full moons is captivating, their oceanic origins fascinating. From fertility symbols for brides in Asia to the legend that Eve cried tears of pearls when she was banished from Eden, the folklore around them is endless. Their fame spans royalty to Hollywood royalty, with my favorite moment being Holly Golightly’s jumbo pearls in Breakfast at Tiffany’s—so good. We may see more of the timeless gem thanks to new VP elect Kamala Harris and her signature pearls, until then, their latest incarnation on mini-pearl earrings is every inch elegant.
