Four Elements: True Blue Sapphires

What's your birthstone? It's kind of like your birthday but in gorgeous gemstone form. It's something to celebrate. The ancient Greeks believed everything was made of four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. We believe every birthstone month deserves (at least) four jewelry wishes. Happy birthstone!

September’s stone of devotion and tranquility

Sapphires are among the most valued precious gems, alongside diamonds, rubies, and emeralds. They conjure devotion and trust, which is why they’re often found in engagement rings. Sappheiros is the Greek word for sapphire, meaning “blue shade.” Deep blue is the most common color, while the stone come in various colors. The tranquil light blue Montana sapphire is gaining popularity as an alternative to the classic true blue. Here’s a handful of time-honored royal blue and modern Montana sapphire options for September.
