Where there’s smoke, there’s fab

Sometimes it’s all about the packaging—perfume, cars, Smartphones, cigar band rings. The cigar band is said to have been invented in 1854 by Gustave Bock and helped expand the Cuban cigar industry. The eye-catching details and original colors (red, green, gold, and silver) became signature looks artistically but also served a function: securing the wrapper and protecting fingers. Jewelers caught onto the style in the Victorian Era and were inspired to create intricate masculine heirlooms.

Now designers have embraced the bands as key pieces in their collections, evolving from traditional-looking cigar bands to ultra-wide bands that sparkle and dazzle. There are no rules to this ring style. Varying shades of gold and gemstones dance together on a robust staple piece fit for any jewelry lover.
