Sparkle that helps others shine

Giving back to the community is one of our core values at Meet the Jewelers, and we’re proud to partner with jewelers doing their part to support their communities and make a difference. With an array of pieces (and charitable causes) to pick from, here’s a grab of jewelry we can’t help but love on different levels.

“Giving back is important because I believe people want to have meaning behind the things they buy, especially now. All of our jewelry partners give back to causes, it’s a win-win-win for the jeweler, customer, and the community.” —Jason Reuben, Founder of Meet the Jewelers

Harwell Godfrey (Marin County, CA)

100% of profits from Harwell Godfrey’s “Charity Hearts” are donated to non-profit organizations. Each version of designer Lauren Harwell Godfrey’s signature design benefits a different organization (choose from malachite for World Central Kitchen, pink opal for Every Mother Counts, chalcedony for Futures Without Violence, onyx for the NAACP, or rainbow gemstones for the Human Rights Campaign).

“When I originally designed [the Charity Heart], it was to benefit World Central Kitchen exclusively. It was malachite, a heart chakra stone. It was a response to COVID, knowing that people out there have food insecurity. And that just broke my heart. And so that design I developed specifically to address that.” —Lauren Harwell Godfrey, Founder

Kessler’s Diamonds (Madison, WI)

Kessler’s Diamonds donates a portion of the proceeds from one of their most popular jewelry lines, Time & Eternity, to Make a Wish Wisconsin and the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Michigan.

“Giving back to the community is core to who we are. The [example] that signifies our relationship the best today is Make-A-Wish. If you go into any of our stores, you'll see the stars, which represent the kids that we've sponsored over the years. It's our charity of choice. It's really important to who we are.” —Joe Gehrke, President

Kristen Baird (Savannah, GA)

Kristen Baird is partnered with the SD Gunner Fund. Each purchase contributes to the non-profit to assist veterans, first responders, and exceptional children with the financial expense of obtaining and maintaining service dogs.

“These animals are super expensive and a lot of families can't afford them. We're really honored to be a part of helping these people get these dogs—they’re life-changing for them.” —Kristen Baird, Designer

Zoë Chicco (Los Angeles, CA)

To celebrate two decades in business, Zoë Chicco collaborated with 20 female founders and innovators on 20 limited-edition designs to create the 20x20 collection. All proceeds from the collection are donated to a charity of the collaborator’s choice.

Designed in partnership with Justina Blakeney, founder of the popular blog and home goods line, Jungalow, proceeds from the Mixed Motif Necklace set go to the ACLU.

“I love the ACLU because, from social and racial justice to environmentalism to LGBTQIA rights, the ACLU is always on the front lines making sh*t happen.” —Justina Blakeney, Jungalow Founder

Doyle & Doyle (New York, NY)

The thistle flower is associated with protection and nobility, a perfect symbol to represent the compassionate care of shelter animals. Doyle & Doyle donates the net profits earned from this necklace to the New York Humane Society.

Calvin Broyles (Beckley, WV)

Each year, Calvin Broyles donates 15% of proceeds from their Heart in West Virginia collection to the Heart in West Virginia Scholarship Fund to benefit local high school seniors.

“We have [the students] write an essay on what West Virginia means to them, why they want to stay, and how they can help improve the state. To read some of the essays is amazing, just the backgrounds these students come from, the hardships, the perseverance that they have, and they're still plugging along. It’s good we can help them, but it's also good for us to realize that not everybody is as blessed as we were to come up in a family where we have a business.” —Ryan Broyles, Sales & Marketing Manager

Steven Singer (Philadelphia, PA)

Steven Singer is a big animal lover. His dog, Buddy, even has his own Instagram account @buddythejeweler. He donates 20% of proceeds from his Sweet Love for Pets collection to the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
