“My mother, Sage, founded the business. About twenty years ago, she spent her winters in Mexico. She had a tent, and she’d drive around towns, and camp out under the stars. She found this little town called Taxco with the best silver jewelry. A couple of years later, we took a loan from the bank and opened a store in Portland, Maine. We focused only on jewelry, traveling to different countries in Southeast Asia, Turkey, Israel, South America. Any country that sounds cool, we go and see what artisans they have and bring it home.”
