Today, Kassab Jewelers—the second family shop opened in 1990—continues to deliver on its promise of integrity, quality, and affordability thanks to the original owners’ daughter, Rana Kassab.
Now boasting three locations in Oregon, Kassab Jewelers offers a range of exclusive designer pieces, bespoke creations, and high-value certified loose diamonds. A people-first approach, both internally and toward customers, has made the family business a household name within their community and a concierge favorite among upscale neighbors like the Dossier Hotel.
For three generations, the Kassab family has made discerning jewelry clients feel at home—a torch now held by Rana Kassab. A self-proclaimed people person, Rana gravitated to the client bonds she observed while shadowing her father as a teenager and working at trade shows. The personal connection jewelry invokes inspired Rana to parlay her early interest in the family business into a full-fledged passion. Dedication and service continue to be a driving force behind Rana’s efforts. Customers have exclusive access to designer lines and pieces, while an in-house jewelry CAD designer—who happens to be Rana’s brother—caters to custom requests.

What happens when you give a football player a Tacori engagement ring to put into play?
In what would become one of the most memorable Kassab Jewelers proposals, an indoor football player had his sights set on popping the question from the court. Kassab Jewelers stepped in to make the moment extra special, offering up a beautiful Tacori diamond ring. It turns out the player took the public proposal a step further and proposed to his girlfriend on TV. Spoiler alert: she said yes.

Kassab Jewelers’ Annual Kassab Glam Soirée
More than an evening applauding the store’s success, it’s a chance to bring customers together, offering a grand gesture of appreciation, and spotlighting philanthropic initiatives. Along with the trimmings of a celebratory fête—bottomless drinks, unlimited bites, entertainment, and, of course, jewels—are efforts to raise funds for community youth causes, animal care, and local high school sports teams.
KASSAB JEWELERS GIVES BACK
The Kassab family has a portfolio of philanthropic projects. Among them is the Maurice Lucas Foundation, a local charity founded on the community work of Portland Trail Blazers athlete, Maurice Lucas, that carves out opportunities for inner-city students to develop cognitive, emotional, intellectual, and social skills. “We try to focus on children,” explains Rana, “because children are our future.”
