“I come out from behind my workbench and talk to customers, or my employee talks to them and gets the parameters. Then the two of us sit down and sketch, usually four or five ideas. It’s hard to translate from a two-dimensional sketch on paper to a three-dimensional design on a finger, so we always show them the progress to make sure that that’s what they want.”
